The clip was very informative Florida is in the process of developing HOT lanes and I think the piece by Drew is a good way of introducing the concept. There are a couple of other good ideas but for the Bureaucracies (sp) would have some merit also. The Japanese have developed a Rail Bus that using both the steel rail and rubber tires on pavement for a dual mode. Carl Henderson from Silvertip Design developed the Bladerunner ; an excellent candidate for both freight and transit. I hope Drew does a piece of this technology and challenges the forces in Washington on why it can't be done. There is some potential to use interchangeable trailers to run both Freight and transit mode during differing times of the day. We live in hope-

So, the "thank you momemt". When do I thak the corporation for sending my job to a poorer person with worse benefits in a third world country?
When do I thank the corporate run goverment for encouraging illegal immigrants to come into my contry and suppress my wages and work for no benefits?
You can tell a lot about a person by the battles he chooses to fight.
John Stossell is a tool of the corporate oligarchy palin and simple. Ands he sounds so REASONABLE!!

jimmy, we as Americans have been educated into stupidity. That is why our business' have chosen (maybe been forced) into going to third world countries to find a competent work force. I work with people who have 1) no work ethic, 2) can't read a tape measure or 3) do simple math, I mean addition, subtraction, multiplication or division. But they do feel good about themselves.
I guess that is something, I hope they can eat that good feeling!

Secure the borders and fight against the unions enabling the unqualified to 'feel good about themselves'. That would be a good start.
