Biotechnology in the developing world

Ronald Bailey speaking at Francisco Marroquin University in Guatemala in October describes how crop biotechnology, the Gene Revolution can spark a new Green Revolution which will help feed hungry people in developing countries. In fact, crop biotech is far more important for poor developing country farmers than it is for rich developed country farmers.

Ronald Bailey is interviewed by Carlisle Johnson, host of the popular English language radio program Good Morning Guatemala in October. Topics include biotechnology, economic development, and global environmental policy.
